This winter we have rebuilt the 8th Green,this was required because the green had several different coloured bands of Clay in the profile .
Clay stops and slows water draining through the profile a Greenkeepers nightmare.
We dug out all the Clay bands down to sand then brought in our own rootzone.
A good day for Turfing ! : )
The quality of performance/grass types on greens will be reflective of the rootzone they are growing in .
